Force 10 the first building system to achieve CodeMark Approval in Australia

September 23, 2011

18 months of rigorous testing has resulted in Force 10 being the first and only building system in Australia to have CodeMark approval.

CodeMark is a new building product certification scheme managed by the Australian and New Zealand Federal Governments through the Australian Building Codes Board and New Zealand’s Department of Building and Housing.

CodeMark certification involves the evaluation and certification of products to ensure they meet specified requirements of the Building Codes in Australia and New Zealand.  CodeMark gives users the confidence that certified building products comply with the Building Code of Australia.

Force 10 International Pty Ltd has achieved CodeMark CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY CM30027 for the Force 10 Building System which consists of prefabricated, ready to be assembled housing structures which are normally constructed for one and two storey construction on stumps, pad footings or concrete slab-on-ground.

Under State and Territory legislation in Australia, CodeMark products must be accepted by all certifying authorities nationally.

Thanks to the tenacity and determination of Force 10’s staff and the impressive work of the Engineering Manager Peter Lehrke, Force 10 has proved once more to be safe, reliable, extremely robust and compliant with the National Construction Code and the Building Code of Australia.
